What We Look At

Six questions every show should be able to answer.

The questions that decide whether a show grows, answered from what your audience can already see.

  1. 01

    Packaging

Titles and cover images: the two things that decide whether anyone presses play.

  2. 02

    Consistency

How often you publish, how regular it is, and what the gaps are costing you.

  3. 03

    What is landing

Which episodes are pulling their weight, which are not, and what separates them.

  4. 04

    Discoverability

Descriptions, show notes and keywords that help the right people find you.

  5. 05

    The next step

Whether each episode gives a listener a clear way back to your firm, brand or offer.

  6. 06

    Presence

How your show presents itself on YouTube, Apple Podcasts, Spotify and everywhere your feed is listed.

Who It Is For

Built for shows that are already publishing.

  • Law firms and attorneys

Your show should be building trust and bringing in cases. The audit shows whether it is.

  • Executives and founders

A personal platform that earns attention from the people you most want to reach.

  • Brands and organizations

Branded, internal and mission-driven series that have to justify their budget.

  • Independent creators

Growing shows that are ready to treat publishing like a business.

Questions

Before you send it.

Is the audit really free?

Yes. There is no cost and no obligation, and you do not need to be a Sierra client, now or later.

Do you need access to my accounts?

No. The audit is measured on public data only, meaning what any listener or viewer can already see. We never ask for logins, passwords or analytics access.

What if I only have a podcast, or only a YouTube channel?

That is fine. Send whichever you have. We need at least one of the two: your YouTube channel or your podcast's RSS feed.

Where do I find my podcast's RSS feed?

Your podcast host shows it, usually under settings or distribution. Buzzsprout, Libsyn, Podbean, Spotify for Creators and the other hosts all list it. It is a web address that often ends in .xml or /rss.

How will I receive it?

Your audit arrives by email at the address you enter on the form, so please double-check it before you send.

What happens after I read it?

That is up to you. The recommendations are written so your current team can act on them. If you would like help putting them to work, you can book a strategy call with Monalisa.

Your show deserves a second look.
